We met as a group beginning in late June 2002 to discuss the possibility of staring a new church. These talks centered around where we could have our services. It was noted that Century Methodist was closing their facility. Brother Harris advised he would contact the Century Methodist organization concerning this property. Work began immediately to repair the church, with the back Sunday School rooms being the highest priority. Our first service occurred the firs.
